🔥Micah Parsons tells the truth about being sick when the Cowboys beat the Giants.

In a decisive victory over the previously unbeaten New York Giants on Monday night, the Dallas Cowboys improved to 2-1 on the season. Although there was some uncertainty on whether star pass-rusher Micah Parsons would play or not due to illness, he showed up.

Parsons delivered a massive truth bomb about playing when he wasn’t at his best after the game. Through Jon Machota

“I’m here to play, I’m here to be great. I could have a stomach virus, I could be pooping my pants & I still want to play. I don’t want to be held back. I live to play the game. Me at 60 is better than most people at 100. I just wanna play.”

Micah Parsons is correct. This dude is a total dog and a top performer at his position. Even though the former Penn State standout was unable to record a tackle or sack, the Cowboys still valued his presence on the field with the defense. They performed an amazing job of containing the damage, giving up only 16 points while sacking Daniel Jones five times.

Most significantly, backup quarterback Cooper Rush has performed admirably and improved to 3-0 as a starter in the NFL. Dallas would certainly like to have Dak Prescott return as soon as possible, but it’s comforting to know that they have another quarterback capable of winning games on their roster.

Sunday’s home game against the Washington Commanders is Micah Parsons and the Cowboys’ next opponent before a pair of testing contests against the Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles. Weeks 5 or 6 should likely indicate Dak’s return.
