🚨Cowboys’ Week 5 starter is announced by Jerry Jones

The Dallas Cowboys’ starter for Week 5 of the 2022 NFL season is already known.

Jerry Jones, the owner of the Cowboys, stated on 105.3 “The Fan” that Dak Prescott’s grip is “not well enough to play” this week against the Rams, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, an NFL insider. Dallas’ starting quarterback Cooper Rush is back for another week. Rush is still unblemished.

Rush has won three games for the Cowboys this season and has yet to lose as a starter.

In Week 2 against the Cincinnati Bengals, he had 19 completions for 235 yards and a touchdown.

A week later, against the New York Giants, Rush completed 21 passes for 215 yards and a score.

Finally, in Week 4’s matchup with the Washington Commanders, the Central Michigan alumnus triumphed once more.

Rush completed 15 passes for 223 yards and two touchdowns to win the game.

Through three games, he hasn’t thrown an interceptions.

Matthew Stafford, the starting quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams, has the most interceptions in the league with six.

With eight interception returns for touchdowns since 2020, he has also had the most since Talanoa Hufanga of the 49ers.

Prescott is still inactive.

The timeline for Dak Prescott’s thumb injury recovery has been changed numerous times.

His expected recovery time before the successful surgery was six to eight weeks.

However, after treatment, it was four to six weeks since he was recovering more quickly.
