Micah Parsons is out of practice yet again due to illness.

Micah Parsons, a top linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, skipped practice on Friday for the second day in a row due to what is being described as an illness.

Jerry Jones, the owner of the Cowboys, stated on Thursday that Parsons tested negative for the flu and COVID-19. Mike McCarthy, Dallas’ head coach, confirmed on 105.3 The Fan, with whom Parsons is having allergic reactions.

McCarthy told reporters on Friday that Parsons “is feeling better today, but he will not practice today.”

Parsons, who is tied for second in the NFL with four sacks and has 17 in just 18 career games, is still anticipated to play on Monday when the Cowboys (1-1) travel to East Rutherford, New Jersey, to take on the New York Giants (2-0).

Close end Dalton Schultz was able to practice his ball-handling and movement skills on Friday. The Cowboys’ 20-17 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals last weekend left him with a sprained right knee.

Dak Prescott, the Cowboys’ quarterback (thumb), was spotted working out on Friday.

Since Prescott’s season-opening injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, backup Cooper Rush was in charge of the Bengals game last week.
